About Rise and Fly Photography LLC:

Why I started this business is so I can spend more time doing what I love with those I love.

​

- What I love: taking photos, writing poems, listening to music, and working on my farm.

- Who I love: God, my husband and dogs, and my in-laws.

I'm a farm girl at heart, and my two dogs: Rise and Fly, are my biggest helpers. Before I had met my husband, Joe, I didn't have a dog actively in my life; now, I will never live a day without one. "Dog" is "God" spelled backwards for a reason, and having dogs in my life has given me so much to live for. I want to capture life again.

 

Photography is important to me because I get a lot of pleasure by capturing the most beautiful thing: life. Photos can hold so much beauty because they're of God's many Creations. I, being one of them, want others to have the joy of a memory a photo can bring along with each of its emotions. It is okay to have feelings and it can be very moving to relive some of them.

 

My photos can be the simplest things in different viewpoints or things seen from an eye in the daily life, but no matter what the subject may be, I share my photos because they're important to me.

 

Subjects I've always enjoyed includes trees and flowers, animals, and various textures. My favorite events involving people are more intimate sessions: senior and engagement, but especially family portraits.

 

Living on the family farm since 2019 gives me an appreciation of God's Blessings that I haven't always had. I hope you follow my journey in this beautiful life God has given me. Enjoy my photography and writing!
